Karine received her Bachelor of Science from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). Her Journey to becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner began with her desire to become an advocate and teacher for the minority and immigrant community; where medications can often be tabooed. As a travel nurse working in Medical-Surgical Telemetry, Karine noticed the long wait times for psychiatric patients to be seen by an inpatient provider. Combining her interest in social work and nursing Karine pursued her Master of Science in Nursing at California State University Los Angeles. With a wealth of experience in treating a wide range of mental health conditions across the lifespan including ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, Psychosis, Personality Disorder among others; Karine is dedicated to providing patient centered care.
